Everyone knows iPad mini is supposed to be Apple’s low(ish) end tablet. Why is Amazon comparing its products to it? It should be shooting at the 4th-gen 9” iPad, which is vastly better.
Oh yeah, and isn’t there a Kindle app for iOS? Mac? Windows? Android? And isn’t Amazon producing and selling Kindle devices at a loss? Then why does it care what device people use? And if it cares, then wouldn’t it make more sense to push people to other platforms and not lose all that money?
I hope Amazon gets its act together soon, because I actually really like Kindle, and I kinda wanna get one. But not if Amazon’s gonna die and I’m gonna lose all my DRM permissions. But also, I hope something off-the-wall crazy happens, like Apple buying Kindle from Amazon and integrating the content and licenses into iBooks. Or something.
